Cobra presents new marketing campaign

The new Cobra campaign focus on an advert named "the train" that will air on television, in cinemas and on the internet from March. In addition, three short films will be posted on Cobra's Facebook page.

Molson Coors' Brand Co MD for the UK and Ireland, Chris McDonough, said that "by increasing our total marketing investment, we aim to make Cobra a top ten UK beer brand". The brewer sees growing demand for "world" beers and is seeking to expand Cobra beyond its traditional heartland of Indian restaurants.

The new advert is based on the tagline: "a fresh take on authentic India" and it shows young Indians travelling by train across the country, at the same time as drinking Cobra. All actors for the ad were street-casted.
